Eric Omondi Sentenced To One Month In Prison.

Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi was sentenced to one month in prison after protesting shirtless outside parliament in February.Eric and some muscular men stayed peaceful demonstrations,blocking traffic along busy city roads.

Police officers prevented demonstrators from accessing parliament building.on friday September 15,Eric and the shirtless men were arranged in court and received a sentence of one month or 10,000 bail.

Eric took to his social media and and announced the sentencing,noting that he was fighting due to the high cost of living.

“So today the courts have sentenced me and these young guys to one month in prison. We have been sentenced for fighting the high cost of Living. It is also weird that the government increased fuel prices yesterday, and these weirdly coincided with our court date, which is for the same fight we have been Sentenced. I am ready to serve that one month… I know Tomorrow we will be victorious.”
